How do I install safety rescue straps on back deck of my kayak?

Installing safety rescue straps on your Riot or Boreal Design kayak is relatively straight forward if not already there.  

1) Locate the pin holes on top deck to drill.  Alternatively use the holes in each end of strap as a guide to mark the holes approximately as shown in video.

2) Install the bolt, washer and nuts as shows in video and tighten.  (Note that two of them will be accessed in rear hatch and two of them will be accessed in cockpit area (behind seat and in front of bulkhead )   

Parts:  2 Strap, 4x M5x16cm bolt & nut
Tools - Star head screwdriver or drill with bit and 8 mm wrench.
