Does the seat move forward or back on SR desginated Boreal and Riot kayak models. ? I can find no reference to the seat moving forward and back a an "SR model" anywhere else.

The statement is correct, on SR models of Boreal or Riot brand kayaks.  The seat does slide back and forth. See image below   This feature was launched in 2017 and ended production around 2019/2020 when the Flex 4 Seat got an upgrade and went to a fixed position, however the other features remained the same or were improved with the seat back that can raised and lowered, be moved forward or back, articulates side to side as you paddle and finally the seat base can be raised or lowered. 

So currently any newer models (without SR in their name) like the Storm or other Boreal kayaks do not have this sliding seat feature.
