Returns & Cancellation Policy
Cancellation: You may cancel your order for a full refund before it has been prepared for shipment at warehouse. You may email us at info@borealdesign.com to see if your order can still be cancelled. After an order has been packaged and scheduled for pick up with freight company you will no longer be able to cancel your order. At this point you will have to return your order once you receive it.
Returns:
- We accept
returns for a period of 15 days from purchase (both in-store and online
purchases).
- In-person
returns can be done at the Boutique 3600 1st Street, suite 30, St-Hubert, Quebec,
Canada, J3Y8Y5
- Items must be in a new condition, not show any use
or wear, must have the retail packaging intact, and must be returned with all
originally included parts and accessories, along with sales receipt.
- Once your returned item is received and inspected by our team, your
refund will be processed (less any original shipping fees) and minus a 20%
restocking fee. If the product is found to be in poor condition, or if any
originally included parts or accessories are missing, the amount of your refund
will be reduced.
- Customers
are responsible for shipping fees to send the item back to us.
- BorealDesign is not responsible for any
shipping fees, nor refund of shipping fees, associated with a customer refusing
delivery of their kayak order. It is the customer's sole responsibility to
ensure they or the person they purchased the kayak for are there at the
shipped-to-address to receive the delivery from the shipping carrier, or have someone authorized to accept delivery
on behalf of the customer according to shipping carrier policy. If a kayak
delivery is refused by the customer and is returned to BorealDesign, we
have the right to charge the customer another shipping fee to re-ship the
kayak.
- We reserve
the right to refuse/cancel any order for whatever reason. You will then be
refunded immediately.

1) To complete your return, submit a proof of purchase and reason why you are returning product by emailing help@kayakdistribution.com to receive your authorization confirmation. 2) Pack the item securely and include the original packaging. We ask that you send us a few photos of the packaged up item to ensure to our shipping company that it is ready to go.
3) Include proof of purchase plus your name, address, email, phone number and return authorization number.
4) Attach a return shipping label to your package:
Receiving your Refund: Once your return is received and inspected (expect 25-45 days once picked up from your location to be delivered back to us), we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days. We will reimburse (less any original shipping fees and a 15% restocking fee) on the method or payment that was used to pay.

1. Product Cost $800 plus tax
2. Shipping $199
3. Restocking Fee: $160
4. Refund: $441. Plus tax
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
· It can take up to 14 business days for your refund to be processed.
· If you haven’t received a refund after 14 days or us confirming approval of your refund, first check your bank account again.
· Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
