Making an adjustment to your skeg line so it lowers all the way is relatively easy to do.
1) Use tape to secure the skeg so does not fall down;
2) Go to the Skeg-Dial Control, carefully pick off the small black cap cover (it is glued with silicone), clean a bit the silicone, loosen-unscrewing the little screw were the Spectra Line is attached to or locked,
3) Detach the Spectra Line knot, there normally should be some extra line, so make a new knot at the extreme of the Spectra Line,
4) Take off the wrapping tape from the skeg and check if you get the desired deployment for the skeg, if too much, calculate the required point and remake the knot at this point,
5) Screw-tight the small Locking-Screw, and re- place the little black plastic cap using a little of silicone
6) Allow time to dry before using the kayak.
If the spectra line is not long enough to obtain the desired Skeg-deployment, so it will be necessary to order a longer Spectra line and replace it. This can be purchase here by the meter here
